Patented zero-reject water purification technology, offered for acquisition
Every litre in. Every litre out. Minerals kept.
A granted Indian patent protects a smart drinking-water container that removes arsenic and fluoride, keeps calcium and magnesium, and rejects no water at all. Around it sits a ready platform: a connected Smart Bottle, five purifier tiers with finalised designs, and the complete media formulation and process know-how.
Put 10 litres in. What comes out as drinking water?
Household RO
3–4 L6–7 litres go down the drain, with the minerals
This technology
10 LNothing rejected, calcium and magnesium retained
The market: unsafe groundwater, costly bottled water and wasteful RO
India's household purification market is built on reverse osmosis, which rejects most of the water it takes in and strips the minerals people need. This technology targets the contaminants that matter and leaves the rest of the water, and its minerals, alone.
9.04%
of groundwater samples exceeded the permissible fluoride limit in the Central Ground Water Board's 2024 annual report, which tested 15,259 locations.
4 states
West Bengal, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and Assam carry the heaviest arsenic burden, along the Ganga–Brahmaputra floodplains.
₹20–50 a litre
is what urban households pay for packaged water. At 2 litres a day, that is ₹14,600–36,500 a year.
₹0.40 a litre
is the filter running cost of the Smart Bottle: one ₹60 cartridge for every 150 litres.
Expected revenue: ₹38.8 Crore over five years
Management's five-year plan, built at net partner prices, rises to ₹20.1 Crore of revenue in Year 5. The Smart Bottle launches first, purifiers join in Year 2, and EBITDA turns positive in Year 4.
Revenue by year, ₹ Crore
EBITDA, ₹ Crore
Units grow from 500 bottles in Year 1 to 25,000 bottles and 4,000 purifiers in Year 5. Forward-looking management projections, not historical results.

Five steps between the tap and the glass
The platform combines selective adsorption, mineral retention, UV-C sterilisation and connected tracking in a compact device, protected by a granted Indian patent and a registered industrial design.
Input water
Municipal tap or fresh groundwater, pH 6.0–7.5, TDS below 500 mg/L.
Selective media
Proprietary adsorption media targets arsenic, fluoride and lead.
Mineral retention
Calcium and magnesium pass through instead of being stripped out.
UV-C sterilisation
An automated two-minute UV-C LED cycle keeps water and bottle microbe-free.
Smart tracking
ESP32 with Bluetooth LE: intake, filter life and caregiver alerts in an iOS and Android app.
Zero-reject by design. Every litre that goes in comes out as drinking water, so there is no waste stream to plumb, store or discard.
Proven in the laboratory
Results from independent 2021 laboratory reports and the latest lab-scale study of the current media, measured against India's drinking water standard, IS 10500.
| Test | Feed, mg/L | After device, mg/L | IS 10500 reference | Result |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Fluoride, current media | 10.0 | 0.18 | 1.0 acceptable | Meets |
| Fluoride, 2021 report | 2.00 | 0.71 | 1.0 acceptable | Meets |
| Arsenic, 2021 report | 0.030 | 0.0047 | 0.01 limit | Meets |
| Arsenic (III), current media, extreme feed | 1.0 | 0.107 | 0.01 limit | 89% removed; staged media for high-arsenic zones |
Minerals in mg/L from the same Kolkata tap feed (26.4 calcium, 5.83 magnesium); each mineral is drawn on its own scale. These are laboratory results, not finished-product certification. Fresh independent testing of the current media and cartridge is under way, and the full reports are shared after an NDA.

Why households will switch
The Smart Bottle pays for itself against packaged water within the first year. Adjust the numbers to see the saving over five years.
Packaged water price
Smart Bottle cost: ₹6,000 bottle, a ₹60 cartridge per 150 litres, and ₹300 a year of upkeep from Year 2. At 2 litres a day this matches the management model of ₹6,300 in Year 1 and ₹600 a year after.
Five-year saving
₹64,300
Why a strategic buyer should move now
Protected IP and know-how
A granted patent in force to 2041, a registered industrial design, and the media formulation and process know-how that a competitor would have to rebuild from scratch.
Years off the development clock
More than four years of research, laboratory validation, patenting and product design are done. A buyer starts at engineering handover, not at the whiteboard.
A segment RO cannot serve
Zero-reject, mineral-retaining and contaminant-selective in a portable form. It fits households that want safe water without the waste or the flat taste.
A second product line, already designed
Five purifier tiers with finalised BOMs and display designs give a direct path into the countertop market from Year 2.
A natural fit for
